Filipino-themed Mama Guava pops up at the Pig & the Lady for lumpia, Caesar salad, and salt and vinegar fried chicken. Its chef Monique Cadavona will cook at Bar Māze’s guest chef series (January 26). Ward Village’s Nori Bar opened a larger restaurant with table service in Waikiki. Enjoy signature hand rolls, Japanese breakfast and a lounge menu, while omakase and whole ‘ahi cutting demonstrations soon follow.
