The nighttime Waikiki Holiday Parade commemorates the attack on Pearl Harbor (Kalākaua Avenue from Fort DeRussy to Kapi‘olani Park, November 29).
On November 30: Hawai‘i Kai Holiday Parade (Lunalilo Home Road from HK Skate Park to Koko Marina Center), and Kapolei City Lights & Holiday Parade (Kapolei High School to Kama‘aha Street) end with parties; catch the latter’s light displays through January 5.
Honolulu City Lights opens with its Electric Light Parade (King Street from River to Kawaiahao streets), Honolulu Hale’s tree lighting and complimentary Santa photos at Mission Memorial Auditorium on December 7; light displays sparkle through the end of December (Frank F. Fasi Civic Center Grounds).
Festooned vessels dazzle during Hawaii Kai Marina’s 27th annual Festival of Lights Christmas Boat Parade (December 14).
