“Salman Toor: No Ordinary Love” provides a peek into the Pakistan-born, NY-based artist’s private life through new paintings and works on paper (July 14-Oct 8). HoMA’s Doris Duke Theatre presents the Honolulu Surf Film Festival 2023 with 28 features and shorts, including “Surfing the 50’s” followed by a local surfers’ panel discussion and tribute to Joey Cabell through July 30.
