It’s the last chance to see “Fashioning Aloha,” which wraps up its run at the Honolulu Museum of Art on September 1. Featuring 50 garments that span the 1930s to today, the comprehensive exhibition captures more than textiles. Beyond learning about aloha shirts, muumuus and other key silhouettes that define the category, viewers come away with a sense of the cultural phenomenon that spread worldwide.
