The 31^st annual Made in Hawai‘i Festival features hundreds of local vendors like Fighting Eel, Fujiya and Nutrex, plus cooking demos, fashion shows and live music (Hawaii Convention Center, August 15–17). The 43^rd annual Okinawan Festival celebrates ‘ono food, performances, exhibits, arts and crafts, and a bon dance (Hawaii Convention Center, August 30–31), followed by its Okinawan FEASTival at local restaurants (September 1–15).
