Todd Humpries, the Michelin-starred chef behind Napa Valley’s Kitchen Door, brings his culinary talents to Wai Kai’s Hoakalei Resort. Beyond event catering, he opened dual waterfront concepts. Plaza Grill, whose menu and décor are similar to Kitchen Door’s, serves ahi tuna steaks, mushroom ragu pappardelle and Vietnamese lettuce cups. Boardwalk Café’s all-day items range from breakfast banh mi to burgers.
