Nami Kaze, Pier 38’s 2023 James Beard Award semifinalist, introduced an omakase experience. The popular izakaya’s creative chefs put their own spin on the omakase’s 16 courses that highlight seafood imported from Japan and locally sourced ingredients from purveyors such as Mountain View Farms and Pono Provisions. The 10-seat omakase counter offers one seating per night on Thursdays and Fridays.
