Homes are close to the Kawaikui Beach Park and Wailupe Beach Park. The small sandy beach at Kawaikui Park is mostly used by fishermen and relaxing locals, and this quiet area is one of the best places on Oahu to see the sunrise. Wailupe Beach Park is also popular with fishermen, as the water remains shallow quite far from the shoreline. This also makes Wailupe more suitable for paddling and surfing than swimming or snorkeling.
